Humble Pie at Cavaliers Theatre

June 6, 2015

I am writing to you on behalf of Cavaliers Theatre. We have created a satirical show called Humble Pie that aims to highlight the cruel nature of the farming and meat production industry and will be performing at the Camden Fringe Festival in the first week of August.

Since premiering the show at Clifftown Theatre, Southend-on-Sea, we have received an incredibly positive response from members of our audiences. This has driven us to take the show further, aiming to spread this important message to a wider, more diverse audience; a message we feel incredibly passionate about.

We at the Humble Pie team believe that Animals welfare is a high priority but is sadly overlooked and we aim to raise the veil on the nature of which this situation is being handled and the truth behind the factory doors as it were.

In order to ensure that our show lives up to its potential we are sending letters to influential people such as you and asking for support. Please find attached our press release.

Any contributions will be used for the purchase of props and costumes and to advertise our show to a wider audience. We would be very grateful for any assistance you can provide.

Yours sincerely,
Adam Hughes, Cavaliers Theatre
