TV Star Alesha Dixon appeals on behalf of the
League

I'm Alesha Dixon and I am proud to be the Vice President of
the League Against Cruel Sports. Today I wanted to ask you to watch a short
video.
Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in
the countryside surrounded by wildlife. Like you I'm passionately against
any kind of cruelty towards animals - especially when it's done for sport.
I feel sad that despite hunting for sport being banned, foxes, deer and
hares are still being chased and killed illegally. Some strange people are
really determined to terrorise animals for their entertainment. Rather than
let these people get away with it, I wanted to do something about it. That's
why I got involved with the League.
I shudder to think what would
happen if the League didn't have supporters like you to keep it going.
So please help us today by donating whatever you can to help stop
cruelty to animals in sport. Without you the League would not exist. In
these tough times we need you to give what you can and ask your friends to
support.
Thank you for your support and help.
