These two photo's were just sent to me. That is Kate Karp the Columnist for the Long Beach Post that I have my arm around. She is the person that nominated me and at the bottom of the e-mail is what she said about me when she nominated me. I just noticed the woman's name that made the comment at the bottom is Nancy Foster. I have been told the mayor's wife is a animal person and her name is Nancy Foster.

Nancy Foster: Oh wow, so good to know! Now I know where to take injured birds that I can't care for. I am actually the "go to person" for injured birds in our neighborhood! I volunteered at the wetlands & wildlife animal rescue center in Huntington Beach for 4 years and learned so much. I love working with birds and especially pelicans.
