MOST CONSUMERS PREFER TO SHOP FUR-FREE:
A recent poll commissioned by The Fund for Animals indicates that most high-income shoppers prefer to shop at department stores that do not sell fur products such as fur coats and fur-trimmed clothing. The survey, conducted by, Decision Research, reveals that 54% of consumers consider
selling fur products to be socially irresponsible and that consumers prefer, by more than a four-to-one margin, to shop at stores that do not sell fur. The polling data underscore the fact that there is no justification for upscale department stores, such as Neiman Marcus, to continue their involvement in the cruel fur trade.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
To get the word out to the shopping public, The Fund for Animals has created flyers to educate consumers as to why Neiman Marcus should end its sale of fur.
For your FREE supply of these flyers to distribute to the public this holiday shopping season, email
