Animal rights activist group Stop Animal Exploitation NOW! (SAEN) will
hold a protest at 2 p.m. at the office of ChromoLogic, LLC, 180 N.
Vinedo Ave., Pasadena. ChromoLogic is a private diagnostic technology
research company.

"I object to them using animals in research and wasting taxpayers'
money," SAEN's Los Angeles representative Julia MacKenzie said.
ChromoLogic's CEO Naresh Menon said the testing was commissioned by
the federal government, and would be an important piece of technology
for determining necessary medical treatment. He said this is the next
step after non-animal research that has been going on for more than
two years.
