Hawaii Teens Take Stand to Stop Animal Abuse

HONOLULU -- Waianae Coast teens showed their enthusiasm as they waved signs, jumped up and down and cheered to passing cars along Farrington Highway Saturday.

All that energy was directed into making their West Oahu community a better place for pets.

"This is the main part where we see a lot of animal cruelty," said Phillip Krout, a teen advocate.
