Brain Scans Show Vegetarians and Vegans Are More Empathetic than Omnivores

fRMI brain scans show vegetarians and vegans appear to have more of an empathetic response to both human and nonhuman animal suffering. Compassion begets compassion and crosses species lines. I welcome more research in this area from both social scientists and neuroscientists.
