"Doctors said that the test most commonly used to screen for colon cancer
doesn't go far enough. They're recommending a procedure that involves
photographing the entire colon. I say, don't give CBS an idea for another
reality show."

Milk was introduced to Japan in 1946, the year after World War II ended. In
1950, the per-capita yearly dietary intake of dairy products in Japan was 5.5
pounds. Twenty-five years later the average Japanese ate 117.4 pounds of milk
and dairy. In j 25 years, as dairy consumption increased by twenty-one times,
colon cancer increased 77 percent. See:

The October, 1997 issue of the Journal of Diseases of the Colon and Rectum (1997
Oct;40(10 Suppl):S2-9) reported:
"In Japan, the incidence of colorectal cancer has increased remarkably since
World War II, and interest in this cancer has grown rapidly among Japanese
clinicians and pathologists...Numbers of registered patients have increased
annually, reflecting a trend toward an increasing incidence of this cancer in
Japan."
Today's fascinating article appeared in the January 28, 2011 issue of the
peer-reviewed publication, World Journal of Gastroenterology (2011 Jan
28;17(4):444-448).
TITLE:
"Is diabetes a causal agent for colorectal cancer? Pathophysiological and
molecular mechanisms."
RESEARCHER'S:
Olga Giouleme, Michael Diamantidis, Marios Katsaros
AFFILIATION:
Department of Gastroenterology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, AHEPA
General Hospital, Greece.
ABSTRACT:
"The possible relationship between diabetes mellitus (DM) and colorectal cancer
(CRC), concerning pathophysiological and molecular mechanisms is highlighted in
this review. The most recent and complete articles and developments in this
particular field were thoroughly reviewed."
OBSERVATIONS:
"Common risk factors, such as obesity, sedentary lifestyle, and Western diet
between DM and CRC, led to the theory that DM might be a causal agent for CRC
development."
CONCLUSION:
"Chronic insulin treatment has been linked with increased colorectal tumor risk
among type 2 diabetic patients. These mechanisms include insulin-like growth
factor..."
(Notmilkman's Note: Ding...)
RECOMMENDATION:
"Diabetic patients over 50 should receive counseling regarding their elevated
risk for CRC, and screening colonoscopy should be recommended before initiating
insulin therapy."
Contraindications from the manufacturer of insulin for Type-2 diabetics:
"Shakiness, dizziness or lightheadedness, sweating, nervousness or irritability,
sudden changes in behavior or mood, headache, numbness or tingling the mouth,
weakness, pale skin, hunger clumsy or jerky movements, confusion, seizures, loss
of consciousness, extreme thirst, frequent urination, extreme hunger, weakness,
blurred vision."
Add one more risk factor: colon cancer
As an alternative to the above, you can find a permanent cure to Type-2 diabetes
by adhering to the dietary plan of any one of these brilliant healers: Dr. Joel
Fuhrman, Dr. Douglas Graham, Dr. John McDougall.
