I have had non-diet related complications this pregnancy. My hormones sky
rocketed (every pregnant woman's hormones do) and that brought about gall
stones. Luckily if you are a vegan the diet changes are not so dramatic. The
diet for gall bladder problems is a very bland vegan diet. No fat, oils, or
seasoned/spicy foods. My Doctor for the gall problems loves the fact I am
vegan. It saved him a lot of time explaining why not to eat dairy and meat. I
do complain about the diet but only because I am having cravings :)
Unfortunately I have produced numerous stones in my gall bladder and the remedy
for that is surgery. I still have hopes that this will clear up on its own but
the outlook is not good. I guess you could say I am a true 'stoner'.
