Animal Rights supporters scored a major victory recently when the
Great Ape Protection Act passed through a key Senate Committee. This
would end invasive testing on chimps,
Their battle isn't over though. About 1,000 government-owned chimps
are held across the U.S. for experimentation. This bill would retire
of chimps to a sanctuary.
