I would like to invite you to the 13th San Francisco
World Veg Festival hosting the 40th IVU International Vegetarian Congress --
Oct 5-8 where I will be speaking twice on Sunday 7th (full programme below).
From the SFVS:
San Francisco will be the host city for the 40th
International Vegetarian Congress. Dixie Mahy, President of the San
Francisco Vegetarian Society says 'Preparations are underway to make this an
exciting event for the Vegetarians & Vegans who will be coming from all over
the world!'
The public is invited to attend the lectures and
workshops on Saturday & Sunday, October 6 & 7, 2012 where there will be
plenty of food to sample or buy as well as Raw & Cooking Demos, a Children's
Corner, A Green Film Festival, and Live Entertainment, including Ms Celery
2012!
The entrance fee is $10: Free for Children under 12,
Students with ID, & Seniors over 65. Free for everyone to 10:30 a.m. both
days. Non-Vegetarians are welcome.
The event will take place in the
San Francisco County Fair Building inside the Golden Gate Park, entrance on
9th Avenue at Lincoln Way.
