New international site to support local AR groups
A new international site for animal rights was launched on the 20th of December 2011. Still in its initial phase, 3dayz.com and its supporters aim to fight animal abuse by actively contacting those directly or indirectly responsible for animal abuse (i.e. companies, city councils, etc.) using protest mails, social media (Facebook / Twitter), phones and (free) faxes. Further more, (local) animal rights groups from around the world are asked to submit their actions, which will then feature on the entire homepage of 3dayz for a full 3 days to raise awareness and get more support for their campaigns.
"We were looking for a way to effectively contribute to the fight for animal rights and we feel we're doing just that with 3dayz.", a spokesperson for 3dayz says. "But just as important is to support local animal rights groups. If we can help local groups to reach a larger audience, we will create a stronger animal rights movement."
