AETA the Animal Enterprise Terrorist Act and its proposed amendment is one of the most pernicious laws ever enacted or even proposed in our lifetimes.

It would (if the pending amendment is passed) outlaw advocating boycotts, picketing, documenting and publicizing the animal abuse that goes on in an Animal Enterprise business that includes anything from a canned hunt operation, to a slaughterhouse to a rodeo.

Economic damage over $10,000 is punishable by 5 years in prison.

For example, if you call for boycott of foie gras and the foie gras producer can show that he sold less foie gras as a result of your efforts you could be in jail for any time from 1 to 10 years depending on the amount of economic damage he can document.

Thanks to the efforts of Armaiti May and Rocky Shepheard we now have a website that helps activists inform their legislators of this sinister and baleful act now pending in Congress.
