Robin Webb Speaks about Animal Rescue Efforts

Robin Webb, 58, the UK Press Officer for the Animal Liberation Front (ALF), has booked numerous speaking engagements around the country. Mr. Webb was arrested at a National Protest at HLS's (a notorious animal research lab which has numerous violations for cruelty and unethical performance) New Jersey facility and held on $50,000 bail for allegedly being the 51st person in a 50 person protest zone.  Since that time he has been stuck in the U.S., missing both the holidays and his birthday with his family, after being forced to turn over his passport as part his bail.

Mr. Webb is now traveling coast to coast, exercising his free speech to speak out in support of the brave men and women who risk their lives and freedom to rescue animals from desperate circumstances. Since the late 1970's, the ALF has liberated animals from abusive situations all around the world. Mr. Webb has handled press inquiries about ALF actions in the United Kingdom since 1991.

"The FBI considers the ALF a domestic terrorist organization in the U.S.," notes Mr. Webb. "I am eager to dispel that notion and hail the ALF as the freedom fighters they are, no different than the Underground Railroad or the celebrators of the Boston Tea Party. There's no doubt that the courts will wish they'd let me return home after hearing what I have to say."
