(UK) Police Thank AR Protest for Peaceful March

More than 200 people marched through Brighton to campaign for animal rights.

The National March for Farmed Animals began at The Level on Saturday and wound its way through the city centre to Madeira Drive.

It is thought there were approximately 250 people taking part in the march. There were no arrests.

The organisers worked closely with Sussex Police while planning the march so that appropriate policing could be put in place, freeing up officers to monitor other events in the city.
