ANTI-BULLFIGHTING SLOGANS PAINTED ON BULLRING
"Torture, shame, blood" and other anti-bullfighting slogans were
painted on the walls of a bullring, and red paint was splashed on a
bullfighting monument, in Vila Franca de Xira during the night of April
8-9. A bullfighting festival was held in the town on April 9.

"Lagos zoo (Portugal) was recently targeted by
animal rights activists. The van in which they transport the small
animals had its paint damaged and the locks glued.
There is only
one way of stopping animal abuse: go vegan!

"Some friends of mine from Portugal removed two boxes
containing nine rabbits each from a vehicle that was going to transport
them to the slaughterhouse. Unfortunately, they had no means of
transporting more than those two boxes, and were unable to liberate the
hundreds of others that were left in the remaining boxes that vehicle
carried. This video shows them liberating the eighteen rabbits after
transporting them to a safe place where hunting is prohibited. I wish
the rabbits adapt well to living in the wild since they were bred and
kept in captivity all their life, but no matter what dangers they may
face now, they're free and surely better off than facing certain death
in a slaughterhouse."
April 27, 2008 -- Butcher Targeted
"Recently in Portugal a butcher was targeted by activists. The wall was
painted with the message '100% CRUELTY'.
We'll come back soon!"
"Recentemente em Portugal, um talho foi alvo de activistas. A fachada foi

Voltaremos em breve!"
