SOME of Australia's most famous chefs have united to support a
confronting campaign warning about the cruelty of factory animal farming.
Neil Perry, Robert Marchetti and Shannon Bennett are among those who
have volunteered their time for the Animals Australia campaign which will
air on television nationally from Tuesday.
The campaign highlights
the depressing conditions that Australian factory sows and hens face, and
urges consumers to choose better-quality free-range meats or avoid eating
meat from animals raised in sub-optimal conditions.
